  6.     This file contains additional helpful information about
  7.       label printing with the Radio Amateur Callbook CD-ROM.
  8.       RAC will update this file with questions and answers
  9.       received regarding the printing of labels for each new
  10.       edition of the CD-ROM.

  12.     There are two methods for printing labels: The Windows
  13.     method and the so called ASCII method. The online help
  14.     informs you about the details.

  16.     Additional information about the ASCII method:

  18.   Q:  Why is the form feed not working consistently on my
  19.       networked printer?
  20.  
  21.   A:  The label printing routine is not designed for networked
  22.       printing.  You must either remove the printer from the
  23.       network or use another printer connected directly to the
  24.       computer.

  26.   Q:  If I bring my label file into the Microsoft Windows
  27.       Notepad program to print the labels, characters on the
  28.       left are not printed. Why is this happening?

  30.   A:  Check your margins in the Notepad set up window.  The
  31.       left and right margins must be set to zero before trying
  32.       to print your label file.  You can also use a Microsoft
  33.       DOS editor or Word Processor to print this file.

  35.   Q:  How can I print 2, 3 or 4 up labels?
  36.  
  37.   A:  The label printing routine on the CD-ROM can only print
  38.       1-up labels.  However, you can send your labels to the
  39.       report file and then use a Microsoft DOS editor or word
  40.       processor to format & print your labels.
